As a public sector body, the Power and Natural Gas Consumers’ Panel is required to publish panel member compensation information. Public sector bodies are required to post online the names and compensation paid to:
- all board members
In accordance with the Public Sector Compensation Transparency General Regulation, the Power and Natural Gas Consumers’ Panel did not pay severance to any member from July 1 – December 31, 2022, and the Panel has no employees. Download CSV to see the compensation disclosure information going back to 2018. In addition, a NIL Report for 2017 is available.
Although the Power and Natural Gas Consumers' Panel was established in 2017, it did not recruit members or have any expenses until 2018.
This is a requirement under the Public Sector Compensation Transparency Act, which applies to:
- agencies, boards and commissions governed by the Alberta Public Agencies Governance Act
- independent offices of the Legislature
- employees of Covenant Health
- other entities identified in the regulations.
